FRIENDS

Friends are precious

I came across a moment when I realize how wonderful and lovely friends I got. I have learned things from my friends; things which can neither be explained nor can be mentioned in few literature words. They taught me to live with pride. They taught me to live each moment, they taught me hard work, they taught me kindness, they taught me to love each other, they taught me to share things, they taught me modern living, taught me high thinking, taught me to respect parents I thank god for giving me such precious and wonderful friends.

I write this article today because I recall something one of my friends told me. I am moved by the saying he told me from "Shree Bhagavad Gita". I have never red it but when my friend told me one of the main essence of "Shree Bhagavad Gita" I was greatly convinced and influenced by the line. There is this saying in "Shree Bhagavad Gita" that Kismat se jyada aur mehnat se kam kisi ko nahe milta it means nobody gets more than his fate and less than his work”. This can be explained by an example a rickshaw driver spent more energy than an employee at an IT firm but still he earns less than him and the reason is his fate.

The above line has a practical meaning and it is not just a mere saying. One can observe and look for it around oneself. But this doesn't mean one should stop hard working or wait for one's lucky dies roll a full house.

It means if you are blessed than use it for best, make full use of your earnings , understand the value of money , understand the value of time , live each moment , share your happiness, listen others sorrow, help needy and poor, try not to sympathize but empathize. God has blessed you so you deserve to live your life but it doesn't mean you neglect society. One should be aware and helpful for the society. I will now pray to god that he give me strength to follow all above and make me contribute to society.

PRACTICAL EDUCATION

EDUCATION SHOULD BE MORE PRACTICAL

2+2=4, 2*3=6 these are the basic problems which always have same output whatever the standard of a student is. Almost everyone knows the output value but the basic concept involved behind it is known to those above 2nd or 3rd standard. The reason being the way the input or data is taken into account. For e.g take an operation 103. Now as according to our mind set it will give an output 1000, but the reason behind it or the operations involved in between were not considered since when we see the question it was so familiar and easily interpret that our mind gave response in a nanosecond. But when the problem become complex or in the same question above numerical value of the question gets changed we take more time to find the solution and some people might get stuck I the calculation, the reason being that the basic operations involved in between are known to few.

Now the above problem can be broken into two parts. For 103 we may write as 10*10*10, now it means 10*10(1st operation) or adding 10 ten times which would give 100 then the problem becomes 100*10, means 100 is to be added 10 times which gives the output 1000(2nd operation).

By the above example the thought I want to project is that if things are done practically they are clearer and useful. But the present education in India is not based on proofs and concepts, instead it focus on theoretical knowledge. Practical education should be the main preference of any education system. The main reason students didn’t enjoy the subjects is that they are loaded with lot of theoretical matter and their proofs are not made clear to them. If any topic is explained with practical usage and proof then it would be firmly cemented in a student’s brain, which would finally lead a student to bring out new thoughts and thus many new useful results can be generated
.
Einstein was not born with theories of space and time, neither he had any special abilities, what the great man did is followed his vision and understand the basics and concepts well. MIT is a very good example of an institute which foster practical knowledge along with theoretical concepts, classrooms are so designed that theories and results are explained through live demonstrations. Such enthusiastic environment is necessary for good results. Thus conclusion is more attention is needed by Indian government and private organizations to develop and modernize the classrooms environment to make it more practical and informative.

MODI

MODI IS THE NEW NAME
Why I think he should be selected.

Politicians pledge all the time for better healthcare facilities, better schooling and a developed nation. If it was 1990 I would have been trapped in the politician’s fake promises and the reason being lack of awareness. Today due to recent advancement in the field of technology and media coverage it is easy to analyze a politician’s profile thus no politicians can hide behind the curtain and operate.

Today country’s situation is clear. Our country is developing but at what cost? Our country’s economy is controlled with sentiments. India is a religious country with diversity in religions. In such an environment people tend to be more sentimental and emotional our culture foster moral values and ethics as the representation of India which we somehow are forgetting or degrading at and this is sad. When people sentiments are down economy is down and with it value of rupee is down. Our brave soldiers are killed every day by Pakistan army or terrorist groups at the borders.

In these situations comes a “Lok-Sabha” election a time when our constitution gives us power to choose our representative. This is a precious time but then the question arises that who to choose and the list of candidates is such that it depresses a voter ; the result is more than 25% of population not voting and the rising need of “inme se koi nahe” button on the EVM.

I will now answer my opinion. I think Modi is the new name because when I see the country’s situation my first thought is“ is desh ka kuch nahe ho skta” but when I hear Modi’s name  a silver-lining ,a hope, some aspirations and rise of my spirits and patriotic feelings is seen. And I undeniably think such hope and feeling emerge in the millions and billions of Indians who gather at his rallies or hear his speech on television sets.

And yes absolutely unquestionably, undoubtedly a big yes to that name which awakes our dead spirits.

AGONY

AGONY, LOVE, HATRED, COMPASSION, EMPATHY ALL LIES INSIDE US
CHOOSE WISELY

I write this article after watching ‘Gandhi’. There is a scene in the movie where Gandhi is revolting in South Africa against the British for not allowing equal status to the colored ones. He stand firm and confident on the ground with peoples to support him (such confidence come when you are fighting for the just cause) a herd of horses with policemen on it approaches towards the Gandhi and opposes waving their bamboo sticks.  A wise man amongst the Gandhian crew gave an idea to lie down on the ground.

This was the turning point; I am greatly inspired by the scene. The approaching horses didn’t set foot on the laying men and the policemen couldn’t move further. Horses set their feet up in the air and they didn’t hurt anyone. Horse is an animal, from this scene the nature of horse could be predicted, and at this moment I love god’s creation.

Seeing the contemporary world, men fighting, nations fighting I think we are the real cruel animals whose feast never end. Then I consider myself no good then a hyena who feasts on others bread.
We have grown selfish, greedy, wanting and thus always tend to look for or own benefit. I think meaning of the phrase “charity begins at home” has been misunderstood, since we are only filling our own pockets. I think human behavior is uncontrollable, one can’t control his thoughts, but one can choose the better one. Positive thinking along with motivation is a necessary element for grinding or shaping our thoughts. I find spiritual inclination a good way to help being positive and cheering. And the reason is obvious,” god help those who help themselves.” If we make an effort we will always be shown the right path.

Every human being share both good and bad qualities. Then how people are different? The answer is simple our environment or surroundings influence us they have such a great impact on us that they shape and define our qualities. Thus we are born with all qualities but we need to be wise in selecting our surroundings which will gradually shape us.

Stop complaining start acting

“Government is doing nothing to prevent river Ganga ”, said Mishra Jee in a group of three people from a society, while disposing a banana peel on the society road , consoling his sole that it is degradable.

“Women are insecure in our city due to lenient laws and revealing outfits they wear”, said another gentleman from the state while watching a girl’s booty.

“PWD should hot mix the road , they never care for it”, a citizen complained who recently damaged nearby road to connect his house to sewers.

“Corruption will never end”, a 35 year policeman commented while having tea bought from the money he was tipped to free a culprit.

And many other we can hear everyday………What’s that ?  Have we forgotten to work honestly and fairly? Well I think yes we do, we always complain about things around us and never make an attempt to do our jobs honestly. In our level we never ever try to help society and preserve its beauty, never tried to respect girls, men never wanted to see women above them, in spite of knowing the consequences  pee in public areas….

All above is our true face, we all are two-face and liars, we never make an effort when it come to us, we always blame others and hide our sin.

The greatest pain of all is when we never accept our foul and make encouraging remarks at public as we would be noblest of all. All this is developing a complaining nature of ours, we are making ourselves slaves of our own ill-doing and we surely need to stop this, as we never want to make our children learn the same.

The effort is to be made at the individual level, it won’t take more than extra 5 sec to throw garbage in the dustbin instead of anywhere in the road, it won’t take more than a bit respect towards females to stop our malicious attitude towards them, it won’t take more than a bit courage to raise voice against wrong deeds in our society. Either we show a bit of something from us or that day won’t be far when we would be just mere slaves of our slothfulness.
