AGONY, LOVE,
HATRED, COMPASSION, EMPATHY ALL LIES INSIDE US
CHOOSE WISELY
I write this article after watching ‘Gandhi’. There is a
scene in the movie where Gandhi is revolting in South Africa against the British
for not allowing equal status to the colored ones. He stand firm and confident
on the ground with peoples to support him (such confidence come when you are
fighting for the just cause) a herd of horses with policemen on it approaches
towards the Gandhi and opposes waving their bamboo sticks. A wise man amongst the Gandhian crew gave an
idea to lie down on the ground.
This was the turning point; I am greatly inspired by the scene.
The approaching horses didn’t set foot on the laying men and the policemen couldn’t
move further. Horses set their feet up in the air and they didn’t hurt anyone.
Horse is an animal, from this scene the nature of horse could be predicted, and
at this moment I love god’s creation.
Seeing the contemporary world, men fighting, nations fighting
I think we are the real cruel animals whose feast never end. Then I consider
myself no good then a hyena who feasts on others bread.
We have grown selfish, greedy, wanting and thus always tend
to look for or own benefit. I think meaning of the phrase “charity begins at
home” has been misunderstood, since we are only filling our own pockets. I
think human behavior is uncontrollable, one can’t control his thoughts, but one
can choose the better one. Positive thinking along with motivation is a necessary
element for grinding or shaping our thoughts. I find spiritual inclination a
good way to help being positive and cheering. And the reason is obvious,” god
help those who help themselves.” If we make an effort we will always be shown
the right path.
Every human being share both good and bad qualities. Then
how people are different? The answer is simple our environment or surroundings
influence us they have such a great impact on us that they shape and define our
qualities. Thus we are born with all qualities but we need to be wise in
selecting our surroundings which will gradually shape us.
